Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians.
• Implement and modify treatment programs that address patients' unique needs across various specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery while ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and recovery.
• Commit to excellent customer service and maintain communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to enhance overall effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Monitor progress towards rehabilitation goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the broader objectives of the organization through active participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Advantage Muscle Care Rehabilitation, you will engage with a diverse patient population, focusing primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric concerns, and sports-related ailments. Your role will be pivotal in supporting patients through their recovery journey, emphasizing movement restoration and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems for accurate record-keeping.
• A capacity for building rapport with patients to foster motivation and enhance recovery outcomes.
• A desire to create positive connections and maintain relationships within the community.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home care settings or familiarity with providing rehabilitative services outside traditional clinical environments.
• Specialization in treating sports injuries or pediatric patients is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in achieving patient-centered goals, including returning individuals to their daily routines or sports activities.
