Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, providing services in-home across Metuchen, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Slate Care Solution, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine the appropriate treatment plans for individuals recovering from injury, illness, or surgical procedures.
• Implementing varied therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on approaches, and the use of specialized equipment to maximize patient outcomes and enhance mobility.
• Regularly assessing and documenting patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Providing expert recommendations for assistive devices to improve self-care capabilities and mobility.
• Educating patients, caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals on effective physical therapy practices and the use of assistive modalities.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in physical therapy by attending educational workshops and participating in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will entail working closely with a diverse patient population, including children, elderly individuals, and adults with varying medical backgrounds. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Highly adaptable and open to learning in a dynamic home care setting.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are eager to support new graduates through mentorship opportunities that foster professional growth and confidence in clinical practice. A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is also highly desired but not required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits
