Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing detailed assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans based on findings.
• Engage patients and their families in understanding evaluation results and collaboratively setting achievable goals that reflect their personal aspirations.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to the patient's specific needs, utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, while continuously adapting these plans as the patient progresses.
• Maintain consistent communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress or changes in condition.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly, including evaluations, treatment summaries, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
• Enhance productivity by managing time efficiently, maintaining an organized patient schedule, and participating in community-based marketing initiatives to promote accessible care.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of departmental goals and objectives while adhering to accreditation and governmental regulations.
• Serve as a mentor and clinical instructor for upcoming physical therapy students, contributing to their professional development and clinical skills enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient demographic will include individuals recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Understanding the unique needs of each patient and providing personalized care will be essential to promoting effective recovery and helping patients to regain their mobility and functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to all professional standards.
• Proven track record of maintaining a pristine professional record without disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong knowledge and application of manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Ability to design and execute tailored therapeutic exercise programs that reflect current best practices.
• Competence in utilizing WebPT EMR Software or similar electronic medical records systems for efficient patient documentation and treatment tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy with a demonstrated ability in managing complex cases.
• Previous involvement in clinical education or mentoring roles, particularly with PT students or new staff members.
• Advanced certification in orthopedics or sports therapy is highly desirable.
