Work Environment

This position is onsite and involves visiting patients' homes to provide therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their specific goals, needs, and limitations related to their orthopedic conditions.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise protocols, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for improving mobility and managing pain.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress while modifying treatment plans as required based on evaluation results.
• Reduce reliance on medications by promoting alternative treatment methods, engaging patients in their recovery process.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize physical therapy tools and modalities effectively to enhance treatment outcomes, including therapeutic exercise equipment and modalities for pain relief.
• Maintain an organized and safe treatment area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients rely on your expertise to help them navigate their rehabilitation journeys, addressing not only their physical challenges but also providing emotional support throughout their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• An active state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in orthopedic settings is required.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop effective exercise protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education and engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized rehabilitation programs such as post-operative recovery, sports rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, tailored based on your experience and qualifications.
