Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team comprised of physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists. The center is designed to create an atmosphere of healing, featuring private treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and spaces dedicated to patient education and community engagement. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring comprehensive care from initial assessment to discharge.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and administer orthopedic assessments utilizing evidence-based practices and current methodologies to determine appropriate treatment paths.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for meticulous daily documentation, tracking patient progress, treatment adjustments, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to facilitate communication regarding patient progress and to reinforce continuity of care.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to maximize patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and prevention strategies to enhance their engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients who may have undergone surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain disorders. You'll engage with a diverse demographic, including older adults recovering from joint replacements and active individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journey, promoting strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in orthopedic settings, including outpatient and acute care.
• Proven proficiency in physical therapy assessment, treatment techniques, and the development of effective patient care plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to attractive compensation, our benefits package includes:
