Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite as part of our home care services, offering you the opportunity to work closely with patients in the comfort of their own environments. You will have a structured work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, promoting a balanced work-life setup. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine physical therapy needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques, utilizing cost-effective methods to restore patients' motion and mobility.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to achieve optimal outcomes for diverse patient profiles.
• Maintain an effective and manageable patient load to provide focused and individualized care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to encourage adherence to treatment plans and empower them towards achieving their goals.
• Document patient progress meticulously in EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate records and facilitate interprofessional communication.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure endurance and improvement.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and self-management strategies to promote their health and well-being.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that emphasizes recovery and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at C.A.R.E. Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic conditions. This diverse clientele requires a thorough understanding of various rehabilitation techniques and the ability to adapt treatments to fit individual needs. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journeys, helping them achieve greater independence and enhanced movement in their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies, with a commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate and efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in an outpatient clinic or home care setting.
• A proven track record of developing and implementing successful rehabilitation interventions that align with patient goals.
• Familiarity with sports medicine concepts and treatments is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
