Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our home care facility, where the interaction with patients occurs in a safe and supportive environment. Our facility is designed to foster an atmosphere of healing and rehabilitation, equipped with the latest technology and resources necessary for effective treatment. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing you with a consistent routine to balance both your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to patients by assessing their unique goals and needs, and developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a reasonable patient load, ensuring that each patient receives ample time and dedicated attention during their sessions.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing from your previous experiences to enhance patient rehabilitation.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options to improve patients' mobility while emphasizing non-surgical alternatives to traditional methods.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques and modalities tailored to each patient's specific requirements.
• Design and supervise personalized fitness and wellness programs to enhance patients' physical abilities and promote long-term health.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions backed by the latest research to ensure effective and personalized patient care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive healing environment.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and overarching patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed to meet changing patient needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, adhering to the required standards for patient care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related ailments, and general musculoskeletal conditions. You'll engage with a diverse demographic of patients, ranging from young athletes to seniors seeking relief from chronic pain. This diversity allows for a broad application of your skills and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on various patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current, active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to create effective exercise regimens.
• Skilled in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation of patient care.
• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, especially within sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies that enhance patient outcomes and care quality.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and demonstrated expertise.
