Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to establish treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in goal-setting and recovery processes.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively and adjust based on ongoing evaluation and patient progress, demonstrating adaptability in an evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to modify care plans as necessary, recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of all patient interactions, therapy sessions, and discharge planning, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity expectations while contributing to departmental goals through active participation in community marketing initiatives.
• Actively pursue further education and professional development opportunities, enhancing both individual and organizational competencies.
• Foster a positive patient experience by promoting accessibility and demonstrating flexibility in meeting patient needs.
• Engage in team efforts to identify and mitigate barriers to access and participate in initiatives geared towards improving patient service accessibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, and patients requiring rehabilitation following injuries. As a Physical Therapist at Parkland, you will work with clients from various age groups and health backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet each patient's unique rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
