Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing customized treatment plans to address specific needs.
• Utilize a wide array of physical therapy techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurately reflects treatment effectiveness.
• Adapt treatment plans as needed, reassessing patient goals and introducing new methods to optimize rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment strategies and the proper use of assistive devices, encouraging active participation in the recovery process.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy through workshops, professional publications, and collaborations with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and senior patients with various physical therapy needs. Our patients may be recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, or neurological disorders. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing their quality of life and functional independence through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Proficiency with computer systems and documentation software essential for patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
