Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional limitations, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic tests to tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing functional abilities, relieving pain, and promoting independence.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in executing interventions, ensuring adherence to the established plan of care and compliance with state regulations.
• Implement manual therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescription, traction, and the application of modalities to support recovery.
• Continuously observe and document changes in patient conditions, promptly communicating with physicians and case managers to adjust care strategies as needed.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary meetings to evaluate holistic treatment approaches and coordination of care.
• Maintain clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home care strategies, and the effective use of assistive devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
