Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and facilitating the restoration and enhancement of physical function.
• Assess and monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with created treatment plans and enhancing team collaboration to meet patient goals.
• Conduct thorough evaluations utilizing various diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities for targeted intervention.
• Evaluate patients' home environments, offering tailored recommendations for modifications that promote rehabilitation and independence.
• Administer hands-on therapy modalities, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage techniques, to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, utilizing collaborative efforts to coordinate the comprehensive treatment for patients.
• Educate clients and their families on the use of therapeutic equipment and their overall physical therapy program for enhanced self-management capabilities.
• Complete functional assessments and adapt treatment plans based on client needs, ensuring all interventions are relevant and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey, maintaining good standing with regulatory boards.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedic or home healthcare.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid, along with a valid driver's license and necessary automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
