Work Environment

Working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in East Orange, NJ, you will be part of a vibrant and collaborative workplace. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing dedicated service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, focusing on orthopedic issues, functional limitations, and mobility impairments.
• Design and implement tailored physical therapy plans that incorporate a variety of intervention techniques such as manual therapy, exercise regimens, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes and foster continued improvement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic care and streamlined patient recovery pathways.
• Educate patients and their families on effective self-management strategies, injury prevention techniques, and rehabilitation exercises to support ongoing health and wellness.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Resilience Physical Therapy will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain syndromes, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will empower individuals to regain their functionality and improve their quality of life through evidence-based practice and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Hold an active state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and professional practice requirements.
• Possess a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, showcasing a solid educational foundation in musculoskeletal health.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the field, specifically in orthopedic settings, demonstrating expertise in treatment modalities and patient management.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices relevant to physical therapy.
• Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be highly advantageous. Candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
