Work Environment

This role is located in Bridgewater, New Jersey, a community known for its family-friendly atmosphere and access to numerous outdoor recreational activities. As part of our home care facility team, you will engage closely with patients in their homes, providing an intimate and supportive setting for recovery. Monday to Friday work hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM allow for a balanced work-life harmony, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual goals, needs, and challenges.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans employing a variety of evidence-based techniques aimed at restoring motion and mobility.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients on body mechanics and therapeutic exercises to prevent future injuries.
• Create wellness programs incorporating fitness routines tailored to the physical capabilities and health status of each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their recovery trajectory.
• Provide compassionate motivation and support throughout the treatment process, fostering a positive rehabilitation environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bodywise Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain. Your expertise will help guide them through their rehabilitation process, providing the support and knowledge they need to regain their independence and lead active lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in developing patient-centered treatment plans and executing evidence-based interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific orthopedic assessment tools and treatment modalities.
• Familiarity with patient outcome measurement tools to evaluate rehabilitation efficacy.
• Background in educating patients about preventative care and lifestyle modifications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
