Experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Outpatient Care

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing standardized assessment tools to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient goals and progress, facilitating maximum recovery potential.
• Participate actively in the clinical education of physical therapy interns and students, providing guidance and mentoring to foster their professional development.
• Prepare and present in-service training programs at least once per year to share knowledge and enhance the skills of fellow staff members.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to integrate comprehensive treatment strategies, ensuring holistic and coordinated care approaches.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in workshops, conferences, and in-house training to stay current with industry best practices.
• With managerial support, initiate and participate in clinical research projects that aim to improve patient outcomes and advance orthopedic rehabilitation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary patient population will consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, postoperative individuals, and those seeking relief from long-term pain. Your role is crucial in evaluating their unique needs and providing targeted interventions to facilitate their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for strong patient rapport and effective teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively amidst a diverse patient caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, reflecting advanced knowledge and skills in this specialty area.
• Experience in outpatient care settings and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
