Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary team that is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans focusing on their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility, ensuring patients achieve their rehabilitation objectives.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment processes, and at-home exercise regimens to empower them in their recovery.
• Participate actively in clinical teaching and mentorship, aiding in the instruction of physical therapy interns, students, and fellow staff while promoting a culture of learning.
• Prepare and present at least one in-service annually to share best practices and new techniques within the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with the clinic manager to initiate clinical research within your area of expertise, contributing to advancing therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your approach will be focused on individualized therapy sessions that aim to restore function, alleviate pain, and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold an active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic or outpatient setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for successful patient interactions and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred. This credential will support our goal of maintaining best practices in patient care and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
