Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers is actively seeking a qualified Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in a full-time outpatient setting located in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role is set in a welcoming outpatient office that is fully equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and technology. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured yet flexible schedule. You will work alongside other skilled professionals in a supportive atmosphere that values teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify specific mobility challenges and pain sources.
• Design and develop tailored treatment plans based on best practices and patient needs, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and therapies, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate optimal patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, injury prevention strategies, and effective home exercise programs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. You will encounter a diverse range of cases, allowing you to develop a wide variety of therapeutic strategies that meet the unique needs of each patient, from young athletes to older adults seeking to maintain their independence.

Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, although candidates with less experience are still encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based physical therapy techniques and programs for diverse patient groups.
• Demonstrated ability to manage patient caseloads effectively while ensuring high quality of care.

Compensation and Benefits
