Position Overview

Breakthrough Rehabilitation & Treatment Center is actively seeking dedicated and licensed Physical Therapists for our onsite rehabilitation facility located in Highland Park, New Jersey. This role is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs and progressive treatment protocols.

Work Environment

In our Highland Park facility, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a collaborative atmosphere. We prioritize a positive work environment, ensuring that staff members are equipped with the resources they need to succeed, including access to the latest therapy tools and systems. Our operational hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state and federal practice laws governing physical therapy and ensure compliance with all local regulations.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing comprehensive treatment plans accordingly.
• Perform specific assessments and document findings to establish clear patient care goals and strategies, continuously adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Engage in the implementation of treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, health histories, and clinical presentations.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring any observed changes in patient condition are promptly addressed.
• Manage discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care effectively, maintaining accurate records of all interactions and treatment progress.
• Maintain up-to-date training in corporate and clinical services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Participate in teamwork-oriented initiatives to improve patient accessibility and health outcome measurements, contributing to facility development projects.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be instrumental in treating a diverse range of patients with orthopedic concerns, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain. We aim to educate patients about their conditions while actively involving them in their recovery process. Our approach is patient-centered, focusing on individual goals and unique rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist by the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated knowledge of state regulations regarding physical therapy practices.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is essential.
• Experience in electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred to facilitate documentation and patient data management.
