Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and enhancing motor functions.
• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants in the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring appropriate techniques and goals are met to maximize patient outcomes.
• Conduct detailed evaluations through diagnostic testing and functional assessments to monitor patient progress and adapt treatments as necessary.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to make recommendations for enhancing independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and physical agents such as traction and massage while providing education and supportive care to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries that contribute to the comprehensive patient file.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively assess treatment efficacy and coordinate care with other healthcare providers to meet patient goals.
• Conduct ongoing observation of patient conditions, documenting changes and collaborating with physicians and case managers to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide training to clients and their families regarding care strategies and usage of adaptive equipment to optimize their rehabilitation journeys.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing additional duties as needed to uphold company objectives and ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting both experience and licensing credentials.
