Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients, identifying their physical therapy needs and establishing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care through effective treatment strategies and regular progress evaluations.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques and interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes meticulously. Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring the accuracy of billing information and treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and share insights regarding treatment progress and patient engagement.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatment interventions and make necessary adjustments based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and the importance of continued care for sustained recovery and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from active adults to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy services, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proficient knowledge of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clear patient education.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Previous involvement in developing treatment protocols or contributing to quality improvement initiatives within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
