We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at High Energy Body & Home Care. This is a full-time position located onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Highland Park, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function, in alignment with each patient's individualized plan of care.
• Guide physical therapy assistants in the execution of treatment plans to ensure adherence to established care protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of each client's functions, utilizing diagnostic assessments to inform treatment strategies.
• Assess and adapt rehabilitation strategies based on patients' home environments, providing recommendations to promote greater independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, and assist clients in relearning mobility and strength-building activities under physician directives.
• Utilize manual therapy methods, such as traction and massage, enhancing patient comfort and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Inspect and modify the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to optimize patient support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes to inform ongoing patient treatment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to strengthen the overall treatment process for each client.
• Educate patients and their families regarding physical therapy techniques and device usage, ensuring effective follow-through at home.
• Oversee the performance of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Complete on-site assessments to refine care plans and utilize community resources for effective patient care.
• Deliver timely documentation of clinical services per branch policies, ensuring streamlined operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client focus encompasses a diverse patient population requiring rehabilitative care. Patients range from those recovering from surgery to individuals with chronic health conditions who need support for mobility and daily activities. The Physical Therapist will engage with these patients to implement tailored therapeutic interventions, actively contributing to their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.
• One (1) year of relevant experience is necessary, ideally in an acute care or home health setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated passion for patient care and commitment to achieving clinical excellence.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving ability and creativity in delivering patient-centered care solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of community resources that can support patient rehabilitation and independence.
• Familiarity with documentation standards required by federal and state regulations as well as Medicare protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
