Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Sutter Physical Therapy Clinic in Highland Park, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing exceptional rehabilitation services to patients who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic illnesses. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing comprehensive assessments, and using specific measures to determine appropriate care plans.
• Engage with patients and their families to clearly explain evaluation findings and collaboratively set treatment goals based on individual needs. Document all findings and recommendations accurately.
• Implement targeted treatment strategies aligned with the latest research and trends in rehabilitative healthcare, adapting protocols as necessary based on patient feedback and treatment progress.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure integrated patient care and make recommendations for additional interventions if needed.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that each patient's journey through the rehabilitation process is seamless and well documented, including legible progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets and maintain an organized caseload while upholding the highest standards of patient care and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities to enhance personal competency, staying current with advances in physical therapy practices.
• Promote patient satisfaction by fostering a welcoming and responsive environment, addressing patient concerns, and minimizing barriers to access for all individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve range from post-surgery recovery clients to individuals rehabilitating from sports injuries or chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse demographic, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those with specialized needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are needed to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, recent graduates with clinical rotation experiences are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to monetary compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
