Key Responsibilities

• As a Physical Therapist, you will direct treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, mitigating pain, and restoring muscle function, ensuring that each patient's treatment aligns with their individual care plan.
• You will oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, providing guidance on executing the established plans of care and ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic testing and assessments of muscle, nerve, and joint functionality.
• Evaluate client home settings to make recommendations that enhance their independence and ability to recover effectively.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic exercises and instruct clients in non-manual exercises that promote recovery and functional activities.
• Administer various treatments, including massage and traction, utilizing physical agents to optimize patient care.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with healthcare providers for the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, and ensure timely documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinarity team meetings and case conferences to monitor treatment effectiveness and refine care strategies.
• Provide education to clients and families about the home therapy services, ensuring they understand the use and care of equipment and therapy routines.
• Complete assessments of clients' functional abilities and make necessary updates to their treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Support the initiatives of the organization by participating in additional duties as required to meet professional and patient care objectives.

The patients you will serve at our rehabilitation center encompass a diverse demographic including post-operative recovery patients, those managing chronic conditions, and individuals seeking to regain independence following illness or injury. Your role will involve empowering clients to achieve their health goals through tailored therapeutic interventions and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid state licensure for Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement patient-centered care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and quality in care.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience
