Work Environment

Our Highland Park facility is a modern rehabilitation center equipped with the latest therapy technologies and tools, aimed at facilitating effective patient recovery and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practice, ensuring that all actions and decisions are compliant.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing individual functional limitations and disabilities.
• Perform comprehensive evaluation services, including reviewing patient history, conducting specific assessments, documenting results, and making recommendations for care.
• Implement treatment protocols proficiently, taking into account evaluation findings and adapting to the evolving needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and document significant changes in patient condition, adjusting the treatment plan as necessary.
• Execute comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Participate in ongoing corporate training and maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Direct treatment interventions for patients needing physical therapy and ensure clear documentation of the necessity for such interventions.
• Engage in facility meetings and contribute ideas for improving practice efficiency and patient access, actively supporting our Access NRH initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Paramount Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your role will be pivotal in establishing functional goals and physical improvements tailored to fit each patient's unique circumstance, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as required to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is mandatory.
• A valid CPR certification is essential to maintain patient safety standards.

Preferred Experience
