Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring function based on a comprehensive assessment of clients' needs.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to the treatment protocols and delivering high-quality care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess clients' functional abilities, including muscle, nerve, and joint evaluations.
• Assess the rehabilitation potential within clients' home environments and provide recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Administer manual and therapeutic exercises while motivating clients through non-manual exercises and facilitating functional activities.
• Apply physical agents through modalities such as traction and massage to accelerate recovery.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client plans, progress, and collaborative strategies for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring they meet agency standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families about treatment plans, rehabilitation process, and the use of therapeutic equipment.
• Stay accessible to assist physical therapy assistants and ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding supervision.
• Complete additional assignments as necessary to align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits

Aligncare Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
