Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal muscle functionality.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that all treatment procedures conform to the devised plan of care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic and prognostic testing.
• Assess patients' home environments to optimize rehabilitation and make recommendations for enhancing their independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, both manual and non-manual, while motivating and supporting clients in their recovery journey.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document clinical evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards, including OASIS requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to improve patient management and care planning.
• Deliver educational support to patients and their families regarding the effective use of therapy devices and engagement in their rehabilitation program.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and administrative documentation as per branch policies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits
