Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Providence Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans utilizing methods such as exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Documenting patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately and promptly in our electronic health record system.
• Reevaluating and modifying treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintaining current knowledge in the field of physical therapy by attending workshops, seminars, and professional networking events.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, strokes, and sports injuries. Your interventions will focus on helping each patient achieve their maximum potential and regain independence through personalized care strategies.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic word processing.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
