This full-time, onsite role offers competitive annual compensation ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Wellness Works, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation of our patients. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing mobility, and restoring functional abilities.
• Overseeing and mentoring physical therapy assistants in the execution of treatment plans to ensure compliance and the highest standards of care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through various diagnostic and prognostic tests, including assessments of muscle, joint, and nerve function.
• Assessing the home environment to provide effective rehabilitation solutions that promote patient independence.
• Delivering prescribed physical therapy services at the clinic, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in each therapeutic exercise.
• Administering various treatment modalities—such as manual therapy, traction, and therapeutic exercises—while instructing clients on self-management techniques.
• Keeping detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations and ongoing progress notes for each patient to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to review and update care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Participating in case conferences to discuss treatment outcomes and strategize on integrated care efforts.
• Providing guidance and education to patients and their families on the use of therapy devices and overall care programs to enhance compliance and recovery.
• Completing administrative tasks in timely fashion, including documentation related to clinical and payroll submissions according to company policies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care and/or home health therapy setting.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in the state of New Jersey, along with current CPR certification.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, ethical practices, and a desire to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
