Work Environment

Our center provides an onsite work setting where interaction with patients and collaboration among staff are fostered in a nurturing atmosphere. As part of a cohesive team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will thrive in an environment that emphasizes teamwork and clinical excellence. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and set achievable goals.
• Maintain a structured patient load, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and quality interactions.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic conditions to deliver effective treatment plans that enhance mobility and function.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to specific patient diagnoses and rehabilitation needs.
• Employ evidence-based treatment interventions and continually assess patient progress, modifying plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient care services accurately and maintain updated records in our electronic medical record system, WebPT.
• Communicate effectively with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment process to maximize their functional capabilities.
• Coordinate and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Advocate for the benefits of movement and rehabilitation, minimizing the reliance on medication or surgical methods whenever possible.
• Stay current with best practices and innovations in physical therapy through ongoing professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Many of our clients come to us seeking relief from pain or increased functionality post-injury, and you will play a crucial role in guiding them towards achieving their health and fitness goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record without board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise development.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with the latest physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
