Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy services to patients, developing tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques, utilizing manual therapy modalities and exercise regimens to enhance mobility and function.
• Manage an appropriate caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, continuously evaluating and modifying treatment strategies to promote optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and other rehabilitation specialists, to enhance patient care and facilitate a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain clear and comprehensive records for effective care continuity.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, promoting knowledge and confidence in managing their health and well-being.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that foster physical activity, strength, and flexibility, focusing on a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Foster a motivating environment, supporting patients in maintaining their commitment to their individualized therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with are primarily orthopedic cases, encompassing a diverse range of ages and conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals recover from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions while focusing on functional improvement and pain management. Through your expertise, you will provide vital support to enhance their mobility and overall physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure comprehensive knowledge of rehabilitation practices.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, in good standing with no disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Exceptional mastery of manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation and communication.
• A thorough understanding of the latest physical therapy practices and methodologies supported by scientific research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic facility is highly desirable, as this will greatly enhance your ability to deliver quality care and maintain alignment with facility protocols.
• Demonstrated success in producing patient-centered care outcomes through innovative treatment plans and ongoing patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
