Work Environment

The work environment at Regain Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is fast-paced yet supportive, allowing for meaningful interactions with patients while working alongside a dynamic team of professionals. Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and rehabilitation equipment to ensure optimal patient care and recovery. You will enjoy a work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, adapting your approach as necessary to ensure effective rehabilitation.

• Consult with healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, ensuring coordinated care across multiple disciplines.

• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, including initial evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries, in a timely and accurate manner.

• Facilitate effective discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients, ensuring they have a clear path to continued rehabilitation post-discharge.

• Maintain compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations, completing required training and corporate updates as mandated by the organization.

• Promote open communication with team members, patients, and their families, addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Engage in facility meetings and collaborative discussions to improve departmental protocols and patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Regain Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions who require specialized rehabilitation services. Your role is paramount in helping these individuals regain strength, mobility, and functional independence following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. By providing tailored treatment plans and ongoing support, you will facilitate their recovery and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.

• A valid physical therapy license in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient care effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
