Spring Leaf Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Matawan, New Jersey. This full-time position involves working onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, focusing on their specific orthopedic needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment programs based on patient assessment, ensuring compliance with the physician's plan of care.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and functional training.
• Engage in continuous patient education, offering guidance and support to patients and their families on how best to manage their conditions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and address any emerging needs throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to reflect a commitment to best practices in physical therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives of Spring Leaf Rehabilitation Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily focus on orthopedic patients dealing with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. You may also have opportunities to work with pediatric and neurologic cases, enhancing the diversity of your practice. We encourage our therapists to build strong relationships with their patients based on trust and understanding, which allows for tailored treatment that meets the functional goals of each individual.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program with credentials reflecting proficiency in the field.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, along with a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer applications for patient documentation and management.
• Ability to establish strong rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are welcome to apply, experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or similar therapeutic areas is highly valued. Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration will be beneficial for your integration into our team-based approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits
