Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role at Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Keansburg, New Jersey. This full-time role will focus on providing high-quality outpatient care to patients recovering from orthopedic issues, enabling them to restore mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite, engaging closely with a team of experienced professionals, including two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while fulfilling your professional responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their unique needs and set personalized rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques and address individual patient challenges.
• Administer therapies aimed at improving strength, flexibility, range of motion, and overall mobility.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care is delivered, providing referrals as necessary for additional services.
• Uphold the highest standards of care and ensure patient safety throughout all interactions and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic needs, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. We cater mainly to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring a more streamlined and personalized care experience. By working closely with our patients, you will play a critical role in helping them regain their functional abilities and optimize their mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and an understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience in designing and executing tailored exercise programs that align with therapeutic goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT to maintain patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred to ensure a quick transition into our practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 130,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
