Position Overview

Premier Health and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient clinic team in Edison, New Jersey. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in our modern outpatient office setting, where collaboration and teamwork are emphasized. Our clinic fosters an environment where therapists communicate with each other as well as with other healthcare professionals including occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. This multidisciplinary approach enhances patient care and outcomes. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient schedules and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and devise personalized treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities while providing modifications as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Educate patients about the principles of body mechanics and exercise techniques, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery process and home exercise routines.
• Administer therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as part of the treatment regimen established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, analyzing improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring that equipment and supplies remain organized and accessible at all times for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated patient care, optimizing treatment modalities and outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering a motivating environment that encourages progress and resilience.

Qualifications
