Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care settings where you will visit patients in their residences. Our supportive and collaborative team environment encourages professionals to thrive, offering you the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including Occupational and Speech Therapists. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, strength, and functionality tailored to each patient's needs.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to enhance physical well-being and alleviate pain, ensuring they understand the purpose and techniques involved.
• Provide education on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques along with creating home exercise programs that support ongoing rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
• Administer physical modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat or cold therapy as part of the treatment regimen, under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional capabilities.
• Organize treatment areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are readily available for effective therapy delivery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care efficiently and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery journey, fostering a motivating and positive atmosphere.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for their rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse population, including post-surgical patients, seniors recovering from strokes, young athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and children needing tailored therapeutic assistance. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
