Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is based in our modern outpatient clinic, where you will work alongside a vibrant team of healthcare professionals. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and provides a collaborative atmosphere that encourages open communication and shared learning among staff. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, establishing individualized treatment plans that align with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through targeted therapeutic exercises, techniques for improving mobility, and pain-relief strategies to foster comprehensive recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper body mechanics, safe exercise practices, and personalized home exercise programs to ensure sustained recovery beyond the clinic.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and both heat and cold applications, operating with precision and care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, evaluating metrics like range of motion, strength improvements, and functional accomplishments against established benchmarks.
• Ensure treatment areas are well-prepared and equipped with necessary supplies and tools, promoting an efficient and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Provide emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a positive atmosphere conducive to healing.
• Maintain professional standards and ethical practices, ensuring patient confidentiality and upholding the rights and dignity of every individual.

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, athletes seeking rehabilitation, and elderly patients requiring mobility assistance. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
