Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered therapeutic care, managing the entire physical therapy process for an assigned caseload in collaboration with physicians and the patient care team.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their therapeutic and rehabilitative needs and actively participate in the creation and implementation of personalized care plans aimed at achieving specific health goals.
• Deliver diverse treatment interventions across the continuum of care, adapting approaches based on individual patient requirements and progress.
• Provide evaluations and interventions in compliance with established laws and professional ethics, ensuring the highest standards of practice are upheld.
• Continuously assess and document patients' therapeutic status, contributing to the total plan of care effectively, while motivating patients to actively engage in their recovery journey.
• Instruct patients, their families, and caregivers in therapeutic techniques and equipment usage, fostering independence in home-based exercises beyond scheduled therapy sessions.
• Manage caseload prioritization, staffing needs, and coordinate assignments to ensure optimal departmental performance and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work within a diverse patient population, addressing the unique needs of individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required to ensure comprehensive foundational knowledge.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• No prior experience is necessary; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
