Position Overview

Triumph and Wellness Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Lead Physical Therapist to be part of our innovative rehabilitation team in Metuchen, New Jersey. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed professional to make a significant impact on patients' mobility, quality of life, and overall wellness. You will work in our outpatient clinic, assessing and treating patients while guiding them toward achieving their health and fitness goals.

Work Environment

Our physical therapy clinic is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. Operating onsite, you will be working closely with a team of skilled clinicians in a facility equipped for advanced rehabilitation techniques, including various therapeutic modalities. The regular work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients to create personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to address their unique physical therapy needs and goals.
• Manage a diverse patient load, giving each client dedicated time and attention to maximize their recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement effective treatment strategies for a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to educate patients about their conditions and the importance of adherence to their treatment plans.
• Incorporate cost-effective treatment options that promote movement and mobility, while emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop and lead customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all records are maintained accurately using EMR systems such as Web PT.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans based on the latest research and patient feedback.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care approach for all patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them set realistic expectations and reach milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and various orthopedic issues. Your role will involve working closely with each patient, learning their unique stories, and applying your skills to foster their recovery and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrable expertise in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong capabilities in utilizing EMR software for documentation accuracy.
• Current knowledge of innovative physical therapy practices supported by research and clinical experience.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• A history of developing successful patient rehabilitation programs and interventions.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration, including working with physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness professionals.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation and knowledge of sports-specific injury management.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
