Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine the most effective treatment protocols.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving daily functioning and alleviating pain.
• Deliver hands-on therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing communication with referral sources and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Document treatment and progress utilizing our electronic medical record system to ensure precise and accessible patient information.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to promote a collaborative environment and continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, including those undergoing rehabilitation for sports injuries, post-surgical care, and chronic pain conditions. The clinical setting will also allow you to interact with patients requiring physical therapy for neurological issues and pediatric care, granting a comprehensive experience across diverse patient groups.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and reporting patient progress.
• A commitment to building trust and rapport with patients to aid in their recovery journey.
• Excellence in customer service, enhancing patient satisfaction and clinic reputation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting is preferred, we value candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. Compensation and Benefits
