Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will work closely with patients striving to restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life. Work Environment

This position is onsite within our modern 5,000 square foot facility, equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation tools and open spaces designed to promote effective therapy sessions. You will be collaborating with a supportive team, which includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork and shared knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient objectives and develop tailored treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Manage a typical caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient, high-quality care while minimizing wait times.
• Implement cost-effective treatments aimed at improving patients' functional movement and mobility.
• Promote the use of alternative therapeutic strategies to reduce reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring open communication with both patients and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly utilizing our EMR system, ensuring that care provided is accurately recorded and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes that contribute to their rehabilitation and long-term health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. These patients often have private medical insurance, and our goal is to help them regain their independence by improving their physical capabilities and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques is necessary for this role.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement personalized exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
