The role is based onsite at our Outpatient Office in Avenel, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients, developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a diverse range of techniques, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to reflect their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on the use of exercises, assistive devices, and therapy techniques to empower them in their recovery.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field by attending workshops and participating in continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad spectrum of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological impairments. As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding these patients through their recovery paths, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively support and motivate patients.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
