Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires the therapist to work onsite at our facility in Metuchen, NJ, with work hours scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment plans that align with the specific goals and conditions of each patient.
• Maintain a balanced caseload to allow consistent, focused attention on each patient's needs.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of orthopedic outpatient care to inform treatment decisions.
• Employ a variety of cost-effective interventions to enhance patients' movement and functional abilities.
• Promote non-invasive treatments and minimize reliance on medications through effective therapy techniques.
• Design comprehensive rehabilitation programs that incorporate different modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement fitness and wellness initiatives based on current best practices and research.
• Provide motivational support to patients, ensuring a positive therapeutic experience.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health and wellness by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation using EMR software to ensure accurate patient records and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is necessary, without sanctions or board actions.
• Practical experience in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design is essential.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for precise and efficient patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and methodologies supported by research findings.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of hands-on experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse patient caseload with varying conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to USD 104,000 annually, based on experience.
