Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including the review of patient histories, physical assessments, and the formulation of individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, involving them in the setting of care goals.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs, using evidence-based practices to enhance recovery and improve mobility.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to modify care plans promptly in response to changes in patient condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, painting a clear picture of the patient's journey through care, including assessments, treatment progresses, and discharge evaluations.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity targets while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
• Participate in marketing initiatives, promoting community outreach to enhance access to services while demonstrating the value of physical therapy.
• Actively contribute to department goals by complying with healthcare regulations and pursuing continuing education opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

A Better Living Physical Therapy, our patient population comprises diverse individuals from various backgrounds and ages, all seeking relief from pain and guidance on their rehabilitation journey. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. Your ability to create personalized care plans and foster strong therapeutic relationships will significantly influence their recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Two years of relevant experience in a similar setting is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While two years of relevant experience is required for candidates, a willingness to learn and grow is also highly valued. Compensation and Benefits
