Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will undertake a range of critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions accurately and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer a variety of physical therapy interventions, using techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
• Educate patients on effective movement patterns, injury prevention strategies, and at-home exercises to foster independence in their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for patients; share insights and techniques to further enhance patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population allows for a dynamic caseload that will challenge your skills and enhance your clinical expertise in navigating various rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution or equivalent.
• Possess a valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Maintain certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective patient relationships.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and the latest treatment methodologies in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a focus on treating orthopedic conditions. Compensation and Benefits
