Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Ernest Physical Therapy, you will engage in an onsite work setting at our outpatient facility in East Brunswick, NJ. The clinic is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and resources to facilitate effective rehabilitation. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, consisting of 40 hours a week, allowing for a balanced work-life equilibrium while still making a meaningful impact in patient lives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, adapting methods based on patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes, leveraging evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's treatment plan.
• Provide therapeutic services in accordance with the physician's plan of care, utilizing a range of techniques to aid in patient recovery.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers about treatment programs, providing resources for home-based care and ongoing rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting care provided and progress towards goals to ensure effective communication within the team.
• Adhere to minimum utilization goals and business objectives to help drive the overall success of the practice.

Our patient demographics encompass a wide variety, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing and electronic health records systems.
• A genuine desire to build meaningful connections with patients and contribute positively to the community.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in an outpatient setting is highly valued. Familiarity with diverse patient populations and a record of achieving positive patient outcomes will set you apart.
