Care Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Highland Park, New Jersey. As a full-time member of our outpatient clinic, your primary focus will be on empowering patients to achieve optimal function, restore mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

Situated in the vibrant community of Highland Park, NJ, our facility offers a collaborative and supportive environment where healthcare professionals work cohesively. This role requires an onsite presence, with a schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Here, you will have the resources needed to develop effective treatment plans and a variety of therapeutic options for your patients within a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to understand their unique challenges and establish personalized care plans tailored to address individual goals.
• Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and treatment modalities to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor patient progress by conducting regular assessments and modifying treatment plans based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques while motivating them throughout their recovery process.
• Implement innovative, non-surgical interventions focused on pain relief and functional improvement while minimizing reliance on pharmacological treatments.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment results.
• Create and maintain meticulous records of patient progress, treatments administered, and follow-up care utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily involves working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and ailments that affect physical mobility. Our patient demographics are diverse, including young athletes, active adults, and older individuals seeking to improve or maintain their functional independence. Your impact as a Physical Therapist will directly contribute to their healing journeys and help them achieve a higher quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, while a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey without sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in a range of manual therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises.
• Solid understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices based on current research.
• Experience utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate, efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient clinic environment.
• Demonstrated success in developing tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Expertise in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
