Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, analyzing their medical history, performing detailed assessments, and formulating individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment recommendations effectively to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, adapting treatment protocols as needed based on patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, providing insights into patient care plans and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments in therapy.
• Manage discharge planning and post-care follow-up efficiently, ensuring comprehensive documentation that accurately reflects each patient's treatment journey.
• Meet and exceed productivity benchmarks while maintaining a rigorous schedule and participating in marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with the latest therapies and practices, and mentor physical therapy students, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient clients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. Your role is essential in guiding them toward improved mobility and overall physical function, ensuring that treatment plans are personalized and centered around each patient's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current DPT licensure in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care and exceptional service.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is appreciated, we are open to recent graduates who embody the right values and dedication to learning. Ideal applicants will have a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with favorites being experience in managing diverse patient populations and utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
