Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our home care facility in Sayreville. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify their goals and needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, typically one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care for each individual.
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies that effectively enhance patients' motion and function.
• Educate patients regarding treatment methods and lifestyle changes that promote recovery and well-being.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized care plans, integrating various therapeutic techniques towards achieving recovery goals.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment process, focusing on restoring their strength, flexibility, and overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring clear and thorough records are maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Corewell Physical Therapy will primarily focus on orthopedic patients who seek to restore their physical functionality after injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Many of our clients are athletes or individuals looking to regain mobility and strength to return to their daily activities or competitive sports. Your role is critical in not only addressing their physical rehabilitation needs but also motivating them toward a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited program recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills through at least one year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in developing sports-specific rehabilitation programs, as well as familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and equipment, will be advantageous. Skills in patient education and community outreach can enhance the patient engagement experience.

Compensation and Benefits
