Our team consists of dedicated professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, who strive to prioritize patient well-being and effective recovery strategies.

Work Environment

This role is situated onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in East Brunswick, where you will be immersed in a collaborative atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to focus on providing quality patient care. We proudly serve individuals primarily with private medical insurance, setting the stage for productive treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess and understand the needs and goals of each patient, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific requirements.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure quality care and adequate attention to each case.
• Implement effective physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications through alternative therapeutic methods.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and patient education to promote optimal recovery.
• Document all services provided to patients meticulously and evaluate treatment outcomes to monitor progress and refine methods as needed.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, fostering an environment conducive to healing and resilience.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients— individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and physical performance. You will work closely with each patient to empower them in their rehabilitation process, employing evidence-based techniques to achieve significant improvements in their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Maintain an impeccable record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in employing sports medicine methodologies and effective rehabilitation strategies for a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, patient-centered wellness programs that encourage healthy lifestyle choices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 130,000 to 140,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
