Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercise regimens, hands-on manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Regularly documenting patient progress, treatment protocols, and outcomes in accordance with best practice standards and insurance requirements.
• Adjusting treatment plans based on patient responses and reevaluating therapeutic progress to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families on home care strategies, injury prevention, and the correct use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Staying current with therapeutic advancements by participating in workshops, conferences, and continuous professional education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements or rotator cuff repairs, as well as patients dealing with chronic pain conditions and sports injuries. We value a holistic approach to physical therapy and aim to empower our clients through functional training and education to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a similar setting is appreciated, we welcome new graduates who are eager to grow and learn within our organization. Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports therapy, or related specialties would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
