Work Environment

This role requires an onsite commitment within a home care setting. You will be engaging directly with patients in their homes, allowing for personalized attention that fosters trust and rapport. The typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life interaction, making it an ideal environment for those passionate about direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional capabilities and limitations, developing targeted treatment plans that meet individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and exercises to treat orthopedic conditions, facilitating recovery from surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create an integrated care approach for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and injury prevention, providing tools for long-term health and wellness.
• Maintain precise documentation of treatment interventions and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or dealing with lifestyle-related musculoskeletal issues. This diversity enables you to adapt your approach and enhance your practice in treating individuals across different age groups and physical conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Doctorate (DPT) Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice physical therapy is required.
• At least two years of experience with a strong emphasis on orthopedics is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is highly preferred, as this role focuses on delivering therapy in patients' residences.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills to assess and adapt treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401k retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.
